Another massive binder update, this time for the trading I did at SCG DC.

Epochalyptik's Binder

My collection now includes an Unlimited Scrubland and an altered-art Jace Beleren (pictured below).

Everything is for sale or trade! Post on my wall or binder if you're interested in anything.

Do you have any alpha or beta commons ? I am starting to collect them.

The only card I own from A/B (as of right now) is a Karma .

I'm thinking 30-40 is my ideal range (I saw some alters going for 60+). It's negotiable, but it depends on the offer.

This may be a dumb question, but are altered cards tournament legal? I wouldnt assume so but i really am not sure.

They are absolutely legal. The head judge of an event has the final say in each case, but to remain legal an altered card must not misrepresent any information that it still shows. The alter must also be true to the original card (so no proxying Jace, the Mind Sculptor over Jace Beleren or something like that).

For example, this altered Jace is perfectly legal. If it had Tezzeret painted onto it instead, it would not be legal (because the completely different picture is associated with another card and therefore misrepresents information about the card).

GOTCHA! wow, well that opens me up to some really badass cards that i have seen then. I purposely didnt get them or trade for them because i didnt think i could use them.

Note that some judges will not allow them. If you plan on bringing altered cards to an event, it is always good to bring along a normal version of it in case, or speak with the Head Judge beforehand.

When I get the time I would like to make an offer on the jace!

In the majority of cases, the judges should allow you to play with an alter so long as there is no chance of confusion or misrepresentation with another card. In this particular case, all of Jace's information is still available and he is the prominent feature of the artwork.
