UPDATE As of 11/19/2017 this deck, which was fully foreign, foil, and mostly signed and altered in triple gold sleeves, along with the rest of my entire collection(worth thousands), and all of my alter commissions were stolen. Losing my decks, especially this one, has been devastating and will most likely mean the end of Magic for me, but the real loss here is in the form of my alter clients card list...some of you may know that I am a professional alter artist, and losing this stack of cards (some worth a substantial amount of money) puts me in a debt I can not possibly pay and may also mean the end of my career...Im not sure what to do at this point and any help would be greatly appreciated! Police are not hopeful in a successful recovery and my insurance is trying to not pay, despite my having pictures of most everything that was taken...this was in Oklahoma City in the US
What country do you live in?
Insurance companies must follow the rule of law in the country they are based in.
If you think they are not meeting their end of the bargain, report them to the ombudsperson.

I can't offer any advice, really, but I've been dabbling with the idea of a Kami of the Crescent Moon alter for my EDH. It's not going to get you out of debt, but it's money flowing in the right direction. Message me if you're interested and we can talk.

Make sure you check in with every LGS in your area. Make sure they know what to be on the lookout for. If you have pictures of any of the alters, that's huge. If they spot people trying to move large numbers of cards, many of which match a list you've given them, that might get them recovered.

This article may help When insurance companies won't pay
Question: Was the deck just part of home insurance, or did you take out travel insurance on it?
If it was part of your home insurance then the insurer won't cover it being stolen while it was out of your home.

I'm so sorry to hear about that man. This is one of my biggest fears when I go to a new legs. Any way you can bounce back, with help from the community? I doubt the full thing could be recouped but I'm sure anything would be better than nothing.
