I am undertaking a trading journey, but I need help from you!

Some of you may have heard of this story.
The man makes a series of trades, starting with one red paper clip for a fish pen, that eventually lead up to a house. What I want to do is something very similar to this, but with Magic cards.
I recently sold my entire Standard collection and everything I owned from Zendikar block because I recently joined a band, and, well, band equipment is not cheap. I am probably going to have to get a credit card to finance the equipment I need, even after selling all of my cards for $1,000 dollars. I get 1/2 of that because I card pool with friends, unfortunately, so I got $500 total. It was not without some hesitation that I made one of my favorite hobbies take a major back seat in my life, but it had to be done. To put this into perspective, if I were the card shop that just received my cards, after selling every single card the I would have made a minimum of $2,000. I did not, unfortunately, have the time nor the resources to try and sell so many cards.
I did, however, keep a few cards worth a fair amount, and digging through older cards I also found a couple others. I want to start trading these few cards I have to build up a collection worth at least $500 according to the price on my binder page. If anyone would be generous enough to help me on this journey, I will greatly appreciate it. I'm not asking for much per trade, but I would like to net roughly $1 in value per trade - again, that is nothing huge. I know I have certainly traded $15 worth of cards for $14 worth of cards or something in a similar vain before. It's not really a big deal, especially if you need the cards.
You may be thinking, "Well he is just trying to rip people off." False. If you do not want to lose just a slight amount of value in a trade, don't bother trading. I'm not forcing anyone to do anything, and I will be nothing less than polite and courteous in every trade. I am just trying to build a small collection again after having to sell off nearly everything in order to pay for life's expenses, which in this case happen to be following my greatest dream. To sweeten the deal and help make up for the deficit, I will feature one deck of any trader's choice whenever he/she chooses, once. (Multiple trades get multiple features.) If you are generous enough to offer $5 over on your end of the trade, I will feature decks for you FIVE times plus SEVEN more times for every iteration of an additional $5. I will be keeping up with features I owe and to whom I owe them, and I will pay out on demand.
I am excited to take on this project and see how everything works out! Thank you ahead of time if you are willing to participate in this and help me on my quest to build a small collection again. I may up the ante past the initial $500 mark if that goal is achieved too easily, and yes, I know 'Ante' cards are banned in all sanctioned formats. I look forward to all possible deals with everyone!
I do international trades, but because of the great expense to ship internationally, I expect a little more effort on your end of the bargain. I prefer U.S. continental as it makes everything easier, but I am not opposed to foreign trades.
Hopefully my list of trade vouches will quell anyone's doubts about my legitimacy and intentions. I have no problem sending first if you still doubt anyway. I mean heck, I traded an entire deck (basic land included) to KrazyCaley for two Jace, the Mind Sculptor s. I will do the same type of deal for anyone else, as long as 1.) I can afford it initially [since I have no rares anymore] and 2.) I am getting a substantially good deal out of it. Although I do expect more out of this style of trade than most others, it will you save you: tons of time in finding all the cards you need, dealing with multiple traders and shipping costs (if you primarily trade online), and stress over worrying whether you will have all the cards you need in time for whatever event you may be attending - just make sure I have sufficient time to ship. I will also personally playtest in real life and comment on your deck (if on TappedOut) with my thoughts and advice, before shipping if time permits.
If you have any questions, ask! Thank you.
i'd love to help, just posted on your binder to make sure i fully understand what you need and want

Agreed with Epoch. I've considered doing this a few times, then again I think simply by trading, I've managed to increase the value of my collection substantially.

I'll keep a log of every trade I do so that when I reach my goal (hopefully it won't take too long) you guys can see just what happened. And maiden77 - since I've traded with you before and you commented first, you will be the first I will check with.

This seems pretty similar to the Pack to Power concept, and it's certainly something doable. I'd like to see the journey.
