I just bought 3x revised Plateau s off ebay. 2x are german and 1 is italian. paid 100 dollars for them. The thing is that I only need one for my legacy deck, so that means that I am looking to sell the other two so that my wife doesn't get mad at me for going ebay crazy.

Is there anybody that knows how much these foreign legacy staples are going for? and would anybody be interested in buying them?

Epochalyptik?

they should be at my house on thursday, if anyone wants them, better let me know soon so that we can work out the details.

Gong by stracitygames.com, BB German Plateau s are going for $150 and BB Italian are going for $130... what are you looking to get for them?

Panda213, Cash, mostly. I am assuming that bb means black bordered, these are white bordered. How much does that affect the price?

If you do figure it out and the price is right I'd be interested :)

I guess since they are just foreign renditions of the regular English ones, and thos are going for 45 dollars (slightly played). I would put the German ones at maybe 55? The Italian one I am not too sure about. I don't know the market on Italian cards.

Pretty much the last hour has been scouring the Internet and trying to figure this out. Everyone wants the black border summer artwork, and pay nicely for it... Not many are interested in the winter white bordered ones.

I may just keep them and sell some of my standard cards to make up for the hundred dollars I just spent, so that I can have some leverage for some other legacy stuff that I am looking for.

@gnarlicide quote me a quality price for both you don't want if you don't mind sending to Canada.

Devonin, that's the problem I am having. I do not know exactly how much they would be. I am guessing in the comment above yours. I would say that would be the prices. I don't know what shipping costs to Canada. I have shipped once to Romania, so it can't be more than that.

I am going to have to wait until the plateaus come in before I decide the "no shit" quality of them. They looked good for SP, but it was also a photo on eBay.

gnarlicide Well, the fact that they are in a foreign language doesn't make me value them higher. If they're SP and White Bordered, I'd value them at the same 45 as the English ones. If you want to value them at 55, I suppose I could split the difference and offer a flat 100 for the two of them. So when they come in, you've got a standing order. To save on shipping, I'm happy to take the risk on just putting them in sleeves in toploaders in an appropriately sized PWE, or in a pinch, a bubble mailer and just shipping basic surface. I'll pay up front so you don't have to worry about getting ripped etc. Might be that not insisting on paying later, or tracking/air mail etc might make my offer be the winner :P

Given that foreign black bordered are worth waaaay less than English black bordered, I assume I'm missing something about why foreign white bordered are somehow worth -more- than the English, but whatever.

Not sure myself, either. The lgs owner and good friend of mine was telling me they would be a step up from the English ones. I will let you know when they come in, after the 24 hours of buyer remorse, I am almost inclined to keeping them and using them as leverage in other legacy trades.
