Online Trading Basics?

The Trading Post forum

So I've been getting progressively more serious about Magic in the last 8 months or so, and in doing so I've been steadily building my binder. I also am 15 and unemployed so I don't have any money. As I get into more expensive formats, decks, and cards, I need to be able to trade for stuff.

I was just wondering if people on here could give me a rundown of what goes down in an online trade, how to not get ripped off, what you're expected to do, and so forth.

Thanks a bunch.

Oh, and feel free to look at my binder ;D

Hey! So to give you the low down, basically you talk to someone with cards that interest you and try to negotiate a deal. Chances are since you are new to online trading, you will be asked to send first in the trade and once the other person receives they will send their end of the trade to you (all done mostly through mail). Trade with people with a lot of vouches (seen on the trade binder page on this website) and you probably wont be ripped off. That is pretty much how it goes
