I want a playset of every FBB dual.

But really, a more appropriate title would help you out. The more professionally you approach trading, the more likely someone is to be willing to trade with you.

yes a better title would help a lot, something like "Looking for boros/naya humans staples". Also it might bee good to link a trade binder, or offer cards to trade.

Geez guys, lets not chastise here, he was just posting what he's looking to get. Y'all are kinda just being trolls. Let's lighten up.

Not chastising, but when I look at this thread as a perspective trader I see quirks that make me turn away. I'm offering some advice to help improve the prospects of getting traders interested in the future.

Being a chastising troll would be saying "lul this thread sux no 1 will want to trade u" and not offering any advice or anything.

@Jmickey701: Learn what trolling is.

There's a proper etiquette to trading on T/O. And Epochalyptik is right. The more professionally he approaches potential traders, the more likely they are to do business with him.

Look, I understand what trolling is, did you not read the "kinda"? I also understand about professionalism, but this is just a trading card game website after all. The fact is, he posted what he was looking for in a Trade Forum. I understand trying to help with being a better trader, but there is better, more polite, ways to do it. Also, putting "your post has been read", do to the title, is a troll. I''m not arguing or picking a fight, there was just a better way to handle that is all I'm saying.

@Jmickey701 Even though mtg is a tcg doesn't mean that everyone can be non-professional, especially when it comes to trading since we're talking about trading objects with financial value. In fact lordkasner is basically stating in this thread that he wants about $200, 2 Benjamin's, or 20,000 Phyrexian Vatmother s (a little joke in my meta is to value things by how many vatmothers it took to be an equal trade). Now I don't know what others would say, but unless a stranger had a weapon pointed at me I'd just ignore them if they just said they wanted $200 and didn't offer anything in return.

As for my first post I actually had to resist just listing off cards I wish I had because my first thought was this was that kind of thread. After deciding against that and not wanting to leave lordkasner possibly wondering if his title was getting no attraction I stated that I had in fact read it.

That's all fine and well, and I understand what everyone is trying to do. But he posted this in a trade forum, it's not too hard to figure out that well, he might be looking for some trades lol. Btw, I laughed at the phyrexian vat mother trading value.

now if u look at my trade binder i do have trades i'm not posting every damn card of mine on this post its a simple few clicks to lok and a sry dont have what ur looking for or or u dont have what i'm looking for stop trolling ppl that is unprofessional

now if you link your trade binder in the thread post and be more descriptive you would probably have comments like "I got 3 of that card and am interested in trading for this card you have" instead of the above ten or so comments above.

Also going about something unprofessionally will usually result in unprofessional responses. If you don't believe me on that then go to a bank wearing flip flops, short shorts, and a holey Justin Beiber tee shirt with a 2 sentence loan proposal for $200,000 (that of which is grammatically incorrect and has at least 5 spelling errors). If they give you the loan I'll eat my own hat.

Finally I get the feeling you aren't happy that I left a comment explaining that the thread you posted with a title, "plz read", had in fact been read.
