Should I do this trade?

I have requested until Monday, June 24 to back out of a trade. Can people tell me whether this is good for me?
I get:
1x foil AEtherling
I give:
I'm probably going to sell it anyways. I don't run Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas or Gideon, Champion of Justice anyway, and got them both for free, so in my mind, I'm gaining money. Plus, everyone will want a foil AEtherling .

Well, maybe. As long as you sell it quick; standard cards typically drop in value over time. Unless its an instant modern/legacy staple like VoS or Liliana

Okay. Before when should I sell it if I want it to be a good trade?

just to uncover the blanket statement... not everyone likes foils that much. But I'm not a collector. I just get the cards I want/need for my decks and have 0 plans to 'foil them out'. To me foils and non-foils work the same.
With that said, you have a 9-10 months before AEtherling stops being an important card to get.

I don't really care about foils. For me, they're just a place to put extra money. But I would either trade it for something good or sell it at my local game store. Both places like foils.

Money speaking you can get more for gideon and tezzeret than you can the aetherling. Gideon is about $5 tezzeret is about $12 while even a foil aetherling is only gonna run like $6-$7. If it were me I wouldn't and would make the money off of the two u have. Just my opinion of course.

Foil Aetherling in NM condition = $17-$20
Tezz AOB = $14
Gideon COJ = around $6
Seems like a fair trade to me.

Hmmm. My foil aetherling isn't showing that kind of value. I just checked pricing. Is that local or online mass?

That's very strange. Sorry for the mis-info. I would still say it's a gamble though only because tezz has been out for a bit and sees play in other formats. Ling's value might drop. But also to that same end I could be totally wrong. I'm very familiar with any format besides standard.

I think this is a horrible trade to be honest.
Even if you could find a superb use for AEtherling the other two cards are far more valuable from a trading aspect or player aspect.

If you are getting cards that you want/need and are giving away cards you don't want/need/ever play it is a fair enough trade. I've done similar esque trades many times. The values are just about even as well so it seems like a fair trade.

The actual value $$ of the cards are meaningless when your talking about an ability that you need from a card that your trading for.
If your a collector then sure its an ok trade. As for myself I could care less what kinda card it is like DukeNicky suggested. I myself trade by individual card ability or usefulness weather it be a common or a Legendary.
My decks for example are extreamly large but they are old grinder decks from alpha/beta/portal days. Wall of Nightmares and PlaneShift
Same thing goes for tuning your deck, Mana curve can be the same in a deck with 60 cards or 140. they just don't show it in logical statistics.

I honestly think in my opinion your getting a screwed trade, regardless of the value,
Either of your planeswalkers are more useful and valuable period.

Keep the planeswalkers. They will hold more long term value, and they're just cooler. I only ever trade for foils if it's for something I'm just going to resell immediately for profit or it's ridiculously rare and I don't think AEtherling fits either category.

AEtherling is a overcost overcosted ability as it is, You can find two cards that do the same effect for cheaper.
And with those planes walkers you can get a nice little bucket of trades Imho.
The only difference between foils and regular cards are the foils bow in the sun faster.
Look for some other trades mate. GL also Im new to the site so I should be just building up my prototype grinder decks.

Well, I've seen Tezzeret do work in Legacy Artifact Affinity decks, so his value is probably stable. AEtherling 's probably isn't as much. But if you want foil, go for it.
