I just want to let everyone here know to watch out when trading with nibbles272 he is a scammer and seems to have scammed not only me but somebody else also. Please don't delete this post as it is just a warning to others to watch out, I am in no way blaming the site or anything it was my mistake of doing such a large trade.

Yeah, when dealing with a newer user or especially a user with a low amount of vouches (0-2), then you should ask for them to send first. If you can't be trusted because you are new, then I recommend doing smaller trades with experienced members to build rep.

Don't wanna play devil's advocate, but I had a decent trade experience with him, as have a large amount of other people on the site. It could be that he's just experiencing some sort of life issue that's bigger than magic; he's not been on the site in 4 days.

I'd give it a few more, try to contact him through email, and hope for the best. How long has it been since you heard from him?

Throwing a big one of these up, without merit, can really damage someone's reputation.

That is a good point, it would be cool if this was just a misunderstanding and not anything worse than that.

Last I heard from him was on June 26, 2012 and I have sent several messages asking what the deal is and no response. He has been on this site July 3, 2012 to arrange a trade for the same card he traded me.I hope this is a misunderstanding but it doesn't look that way at the moment thanks for your concern.

I had an issue with a member and it was a simple matter of priorities. I had sent my half and he had receive it and it took about two weeks for him to send my stuff.

I doubt someone with 10 vouches and a paid account is a scammer. I would just wait a bit and see how things turn out.

Remember that july 4th was this week, which means mail is lagging behind. It's also possible that he went on vacation and forgot to send your cards. Regardless, in the future it may be best to address your concerns to yeago or squire1 rather than posting a thread attacking the character of someone on the site even if the accusation turns out to be true. I understand your concern. I've been scammed before myself, but I've personally traded with nibbles272 and had no problems.

I have also traded with him, and everything went fine. Give it time. I've had to wait over a month for cards because of errors in the mailing systems before. That will give the illusion that someone is a scammer also, because they claim to have sent them and you haven't received the cards in a reasonable amount of time. But like rckclimber777 said, it's better to address yeaGO! or squire1 with this type of thing. Hopefully everything gets sorted out.

I would like this thread to be removed now, since it's doing no one any good.I just figured I should warn you guys of what is going on so that he doesn't try it again but maybe he is sick or something and can't reply so idk but it seemed very shady.

i don't want to seem like a jerk or anything for posting this, in fact this is my first post. but perhaps theirs been an issue with the card(s) getting lost in the mail. i know it seems easier to just blame him as a bad person but i saw his trade binder and he's vouched for by some of the more prestigious members so they all must of had a good trade experience with him.

all im saying is that maybe he didn't scam you and it was an error on the postal service.

In addition to what rckclimber777 said about it being the weekend of July 4th, there was a widespread power outage recently which has delayed a considerable amount of mail.

July 8, 2012 4:31 p.m.

He said it was shipped on the 26th of June, but who knows maybe it is on it's way, in that case I apologies for being wrong and accusing someone of scamming. Until I receive my end I can only assume I have been scammed. All he would have to do is email me back and all would be good but ignoring me for days is a bit shady sorry.

He may have shipped with a 2-week option. From UPS, that method is very inexpensive, so he may have done just that.

I agree it could still be awaiting arrival and I may be wrong about him, but he wont answer emails or answer me here so I am a bit worried. Thanks again everyone for posting I hope you guys are right.

has anyone been able to talk to him on his email or somewhere, maybe you can shed some light on why he isn't responding to me.

I traded with him on 4th July. He responded to me. Maybe your mail is in his spam-folder for some reason? Anyways, I didn't get my cards yet, too. But I think it's because I am from Europe and had to send first. I REALLY think he is a honest guy, he had the cards I traded with him (he made photos and send them to me). Just give him time. Otherwise, if you want me, I can write him. My Mail doesn't seem to get in the Spam-Folder.
