Will Cavern of Souls go down when it goes out of standard?

I pulled a foil Cavern of Souls that is worth around $50 right now, and i know it's nearly out of standard. Should i trade it off or should i keep it? Will it go down like Baneslayer Angel did or stay up like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn ???

It might go down slightly. But since it is played in other formats, it won't drop by much, and once Avacyn Restored is out of print, it will start going up again.

I think it will stay about the same. Modern has plenty of tribal decks running around that will have a home for Cavern of Souls .

Cavern of Souls will likely drop right after rotation as the market could get flooded with them, but I don't see it tanking like the Scars fast lands did, and after a while it'll start to reclaim some value since it is used in the eternal formats.

Not to mention that cavern is a must have for EDH and commander players are quite a bit more likely to collect foils for their decks, so given a year or two a foil cavern will likely be worth more than it is today... unless they reprint it.

I think that Cavern will hold the price after post-rotation; and see a slow rise after initial post-rotation dip. IMO, cavern is not to be underrated. Running a playset means non-tribal decks can essentially use it without much difficulty. Naming the key cards would do the trick.

Truth to be told, Baneslayer Angel , though a great card, is overrated. She has very little footing in other format other than standard back then. Even so, she is a good card on herself, costing about $12 a pc now. She's good. Just overrated. Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is holding his value because he found home in a lot of decks in various formats. Cloudposts, Tron, eldrazi tribals, etc.

Okay, so it's good enough to survive in eternal formats... That's good. Anyone reckon Liliana of the Veil 's price will overtake something like Tarmogoyf or Thoughtseize after a few years???
