At what "speed" does Pawn of Ulamog's token gen happen?

Asked by MagnorCriol 14 years ago

Let's say I have a Pawn of Ulamog and a Nest Invader on the battlefield.

If an opponent attacks me with an card:Ulamog's Crusher, I have to sac 2 permanents. Can I sac the Nest Invader , and then the Spawn made by the Pawn from the Invader?

I'm guessing no, because I have to select everything I'm going to sac at the same time, but I'd like to double check.

you are correct the answer is no

the spawn token made by pawn of ulamog would come into play after you sacrifice your two permanents for the annihilator mechanic (this is because you make both sacrifices at the same time)

Cool, thanks for the confirmation. It'd certainly be useful the other way, though. =p
