Can Vedalken Infuser put charge counters on a kicked AEther Figment?

if I play Vedalken Infuser can it charge 2x-aether-figment if it was kicked?

No because AEther Figment doesn't use charge counters, it uses +1/+1 counters. and Vedalken Infuser only works at the beginning of your upkeeping and with charge counters

Also one thing that wasn't mentioned is that vedalken infuser only puts charge counters on artifacts nothing else. so aether figment is not a legal target for the infusers ability
