Can you play a split card in your edh deck even if only one half is in your colors?

Can I put supply into my G/W Token EDH even though its second half is Demand ?

You can only use split cards if both halves are in your generals colors.

well it is not stupid.

A split card has both parts of the card anywhere but the stack.

On the stack it exists only as the card half that is played.

but in EDH/Commander, rules says that a card must be under your general color influence. Because the rule asks each part if it's legal, it gets 2 answers. In this case Yes for Supply and No for Demand.

Yes & No = 1&0 = 0.

Play it in Vorosh, the Hunter

I'm a bit confused about color identity. If I were to use, let's say,Daghatar the Adamant would that make his ability useless because it is mono-white or would I be able to use the Abzan colors as a whole?
