Can you Twincast or Reverberate your own card with epic?

And if so, does it allow you to do it twice a turn?

The basis of the question i guess lies in terms... does me casting the original count as "Playing it" and therefore it's not going against the epic ability of the first one?

Eternal Dominion

Twincast

Reverberate

I'd want someone else to second this to be certain, but I'm fairly certain you CAN copy it and then get it twice each turn.

Epic says you can't cast any more spells, but it doesn't take effect until it resolves (so you can cast instants until it resolves) and it doesn't clear the stack of all spells you put on above it when it resolves.

So I think it would, indeed, work this way.

Anyone second this?

i'll second it :D Grammatically is should work. i was asking because i made this deck revolving around the white epic (which deals with enchantments) so i was wondering if i could make it work twice. the deck is now just mono white, just because, but i was thinking about that because i recently played my friend and he used the red one and i reverberated it (it was intense), so neither of us could play anything. and not to be That Guy... but could you look at my deck and comment... it's called Enduring Ideal, like the epic card.

i believe you are correct magnorcriol.

if you manage to copy an epic spell using another spell i.e. Twincast you would get 2 epic spells a turn instead of just the one.

I do want to clarify one thing Eternal Dominion , does not work with Twincast , Reverberate , and Echo Mage if you are attempting to copy the spell it is retrieving. The reason being is the Copying cards only target Instant and Sorcery while Eternal Dominion targets everything but.

Eternal Dominion itself can be copied and that is one of the issues.

The second issue when you copy is and that is in Response to, so the copied version would be on the stack and resolve first, the original then resolves (because it was cast before the Epic resolved).

The third issue concerns whether or not the copy maintains the Epic ability and is recast each turn. The answer is yes, because the copies are exact copies of it.

Now I have a question, Echo Mage who can use his ability to copy a Sorcery or Instant can he copy the copy?
