Deathtouch + first-strike?

(i think) the definition of deathtouch is that 1 damage done is lethal damage. So if your creature has deathtouch and first strike, could he take on anything (without first strike) in combat and come out alive?
also, on the flip side: Acidic Slime VS Razorfoot Griffin in combat.
if the griffin kills the slime before he can deal any damage, the griffin is OK,
Right?
Yes, he could come out alive but people would have to be dumb enough to pick a creature to block it with, knowing it's going to die anyways... unless they block with another creature that has first strike, in which case I think they would both die...
as for the second scenario... razorfoot would stay alive because the slime doesn't get a chance to deal damage

You are correct. deathtouch and first strike on a creature means death to anything even if the other creature has first strike, becuz u would deal damage like a normal battle when both creatures have first strike.
