Do artifact lands count towards metalcraft?

Yes they do.

Any permanent that has multiple types will count as both types to any cards that care about type.

As an example an artifact land could be destroyed by either Armageddon or Shatterstorm because it is both an artifact and a land.

It also would count towards Limited Resources and Tolarian Academy etc...
