do cards like Dark Impostor & Mimeoplasm, Revered One work with ability's that also exile

so I'm building the new Mimeoplasm, Revered One for commander and there's a few things I'm looking for clarification on
1st can I use ability's like Oona, Queen of the Fae or Shauku, Endbringer to add to to the cards that copy with mimeoplasm assuming that I copy there ability first. 2ed if I can, what happens if I exile a commander I know effects like Banishing Light have wired interactions with the command zone so if I banish a commander can I still copy its ability's or ones it leaves the exile is it just gone and dose the same applies to ability's like Nephalia Smuggler

if you copy oona and shauku, their abilities belong to the mimeoplasm. when mimeoplasm says "exiled by it", it just means itself, even if its name changes. if you exile a commander, the controlling can just return it to the command zone, so it does not matter much. the commander won't be in exile anyway.

When mimeoplasm says "exiled by it" it means specifically those exiled by another ability printed on the card, specifically it's first ability. This is because the two abilities are what are known as "linked abilities." Granting it a different ability such as those of Oona, Queen of the Fae or Shauku, Endbringer won't link the abilities and won't allow you to target cards exiled with those abilities.

607.2a If an object has an activated or triggered ability printed on it that instructs a player to exile one or more cards and an ability printed on it that refers either to “the exiled cards” or to cards "exiled with [this object]," these abilities are linked. The second ability refers only to cards in the exile zone that were put there as a result of an instruction to exile them in the first ability.
