does Infiltration Lens' ability stack?
Asked by Kalani 13 years ago
So if my dude is blocked by multiple creatures, do i draw two cards for each creature blocking the wielder of the lens?
the questions is somehow formulated improperly.
But the answer is, for each creature that blocks the equipped creature, you draw 2 cards. This happens because the wording is " becomes blocked by a creature, draw...".
if it would have been worded like " Whenever equipped creature becomes blocked draw 2 cards", you would drew 2 cards even if the creature would have been blocked by 1 or 100 blockers.
Lure creatures are in love with this artifact.

I'm in love with this artifact. I want a deck full of nothing but Phylactery Lich es and Infiltration Lens es. it'd be unstoppable. But yeah, Prized Unicorn is hilarious, Tangle Angler is hilarious, and it's just gooood on any creature your opponent is likely to want to block. I am going to buy a case of Infiltration Lens .

I can just see you 40 years from now sitting in a dimly lit basement surround by boxes with worn labels on them which all read "infiltration lens" and you are sitting amongst them mumbling "I must have them all...I must have them all."
...
um. it's kind of late. my mind does weird things at this time at night.

I am not really sure. For example, I thought Ichorclaw Myr got +4/+4 if 2 creatures blocked it, but MTGO differs, and that's how I came to find it didn't. I wonder if the same ruling applies to Infiltration Lens or if the each creature blocking it clause makes it stack.

Dude. You are obsessed with this artifact! haha.
I would think yes, because each creature is assigned to block individually. In the case of multiple creatures blocking one creature, they are still individually assigned, and the card reads "becomes blocked by A creature" not just becomes blocked...
So maybe something like Prized Unicorn and Infiltration Lens ?
