Does sac to boost go on the stack?
Asked by pdubs 13 years ago
Specifically wondering if, for example: - I declare a 2/2 Flesh-Eater Imp as my only attacker; - opponent declares no blockers; - I sacrifice another creature to make the imp 3/3; - my opponent Galvanic Blast s the imp (without metalcraft - 2 damage).
Does the imp die (damage resolves before the pump)?
Does that mean that my other creature is still sacrificed, or does the Galvanic Blast keep that from resolving?

The creature is still sacrificed. You must pay the costs before it is cast.

Yes. Activated abilities go on the stack, thus your opponent can cast Galvanic Blast and it will resolve before Flesh-Eater Imp 's ability resolves.
