does Scourglass destroy Liege of the Tangle's land creatures?
Asked by therichterlens 13 years ago
if i use Scourglass and my opponent had a Liege of the Tangle connect the previous turn and turned all his/her lands into 8/8 creatures. does the glass destory all of them, or do they remain unaffected because they are all still considered lands?

10/1/2008 Any permanent that's an artifact or a land won't be destroyed, regardless of what other card types it may have, to be precise

From the Oracle rulings on Scourglass :
Any permanent that's an artifact or a land won't be destroyed, regardless of what other card types it may have.
So they'll stay high and dry during the scouring. I'm glad I double-checked; I was about to say the other way.

Because it does not affect lands, his Liege of the Tangle lands stay.
