Does Shroud or troll Shroud prevent enchantments?

So let's say I use a Mind Control on a creature, but that creature's controller has an asceticism, do I still gain control of that creature?

No, as the creature can not be the target of spells or abilities due to the shroud that Asceticism provides. so you can't target the creature so the spell is worthless until you bounce/remove Asceticism .

you can not mind control it, even the reminder text says "enchant target creature" and if you cant target it it dosent work.
