The confusion I can see that you have is that Unearth says "put it into play." In case you did not know, when M10 came out they replaced all instances of "put into play" with "enter the battlefield" so they mean the same exact thing.

any permanent enters the battlefield as it resolves. Unearth is a static ability that alows a permanent to return to battlefield for a certain amount of time.
Old put into play equals enters the battlefield. CIP is now EBT.
As long as that creature does not have an inverviening IF clause, and has a EBT trigger, it will trigger that ability with unearth. It will trigger even on alternate put into play like, Show and Tell , Hypergenesis .
inerviening If cluase is when an ability states a specific condition for that trigger to resolve, as said above Reiver Demon .
With Sedris, the Traitor King , you can play an Angel of Despair , and get to destroy that permanent.

Yup. As long as there isn't a "if you cast it from your hand" caveat (Reiver Demon , though that wouldn't apply specifically to Unearth ).
