Does Walker of the Wastes interact with Snow-Covered Wastes?

Pretty self-explanatory; will a Snow-Covered Wastes be seen by a Walker of the Wastes, or not? (Perhaps for the same reason as Llanowar Wastes, etc.?)

No. For this to work, the ability would have to read, "Walker of the Wastes gets +1/+1 for each land you control whose name includes Wastes."
