Gilraen, Dúnedain Protector and Aragorn, Company Leader interaction?

If I use Gilraen, Dunedain Protector ability and exile Aragorn, Company Leader, when Aragorn comes back to the battlefield, will his second ability trigger, meaning I can also put the lifelink and vigilance counter on another target creature? Thank you for your responses :)

The reason this works is because the game considers an object entering the battlefield with counters on it as those counters being "put"/"placed" on it for the purposes of effects that care about that.
