how can you destroy an etched champion when it has metalcraft?

i was thinking about making a deck with etched champions and when it says protection from all color's does that include death touch, and day of judgement, and all is dust!
To answer the other questions, Deathtouch is done by dealing damage, which cannot hit etched champion, but all of dust is colorless, hense it is able to kill the etched champions as well.

Damage can hit Etched Champion . Basilisk Collar on a Masticore or Triskelion , etc. Colorless sources are still capable of dealing damage with deathtouch tacked on, it's not just as common!

Well, All Is Dust can't do much against Etched Champion because of that whole etched champion not having a color problem. But like the others have said, the D.E.B.T. system works, so Day of Judgment works as well as things that make a player sacrifice creatures, such as Gatekeeper of Malakir (as long as that's the only creature they have, of course).
But my personal favorite spell against Etched Champion is Ghostfire . Sadly, that's not in standard.

I was wondering if Sylvok Replica activated ability would work. The card itself is colorless, but the to activate the ability cost a green mana. Does that make the ability a green ability, or is it colorless because the source is colorless?

Sylvok Replica would work because the creature itself is colorless. The ability color cost doesn't matter. I have also heard that instant kills that target when Etched hits the field can target him before metal craft takes effect. Because Metalcraft is a state based effect, you can remove, burn, etc. before he gets the effect.

There are a few ways, as everyone usually says the D.E.B.T system. If it doesn't damage, enchant, block or target them, it will take care of them. Making them sacrifice it, or using any sweeping spell such as Day of Judgement will work the best.
