How does Massacre Wurm
work with tokens?

i played Massacre Wurm when an opponent had 6 eldrazi spawn on the field, do the spawn go to the battlefield and then do damage or do tokens get exiled?
doinitwrong is correct. The smart play by opponent in this case is sac all spawn tokens in response to you playing the wurm

The tokens go to the graveyard and cease to exist. Massacre Wurm 's second ability triggers for each dead spawn.
