How does Ulelak work?

Asked by AwesomeDude7113 7 months ago

I read the card multiple times now and I just don't fully understand it. I understand the first sentence, but when it says "... copy all spells you control, then copy all other activated and triggered abilities you control." does it mean on the stack, or in general? I doubt that I am the only person wondering this.

im not a rules expert.... but i think it would be referring to the stack because it doesn't say "until end of turn" or "for the rest of the game" or anything like that... its When you cast an Eldrazi spell you may pay

It means the ones that exist on the stack right now. If it was meant to have a longer duration, it would be written to say something like "Until end of turn..." or "For the rest of the game..." with some other changes to give the effect proper rules templating.
