if Cathodion blocks and dies, will you lose 3 life

Cathodion adds 3 colourless mana to you pool when it dies, so if it blocks, and you don't have something to use with that mana (instant or activated ability), will you lose 3 life?

No. Mana burn was taken away in m10.
