If I put an eon counter on Magosi, the Waterveil then pop Mindslaver do I control their first turn, then they control their next turn, followed by me getting two turns?

Is this practical to do in a U/W control deck? I guess that's part B to my question...

Yes that is how it works, but No it's not practical.

You are much better off with Prototype Portal and Mindslaver . Granted you need 10 mana but you can do that with the Blue Artifact pumps and Palladium Myrs.

Also Panoptic Mirror and Time Warp .

They are easier to get off and they simply GG it.

You control their turn. End the turn. On your turn if you use Magosi to get an extra turn after. Your turn, Mindslaver turn, Your turn, Your extra turn.

You activate the Mindslaver targeting them, then activate Magosi, the Waterveil 's skip ability. You pass turn. You control their first turn, then you pass turn, it skips your turn, then they control their turn. Then it passes to you. So:

turn 1. activate turn 2: theirs, controlled by you turn 3: theirs, controlled by them turn 4: yours

Except you have to bounce Magosi to get your extra turn, so sadly that doesn't work.

@landot you can't proliferate Magosi, the Waterveil

well, you can but it'd be completely stupid, seeing as you HAVE to return Magosi, the Waterveil back to your hand when you take that extra turn.

so no, that combo won't work.

Magosi, the Waterveil is very carefully tailored to make sure it's not completely broken a la Time Vault . However, this means that it's also pretty bad, particularly when compared with the rest of the cycle.
