If I replicate Shattering Spree and it gets countered are the copies countered too?

If i cast Shattering Spree and replicate it 4 times. Then my opp counters it. Does those copies still go through or are they countered as well ?

it looks like a multikicker cost like Wolfbriar Elemental so i would have to say yes but i could definitely be wrong im not too familiar with all that

@jewpop42 No, its not a multikicker, but it looks similar. However, it says make copies of the spell rather than getting a separate effect while casting a single spell, that is the difference between this and a multikicker.

I want to say they aren't countered because they are copies, but I have only been playing for a year and do not know about how to explain my thoughts on this. Basically, I think because they are copies they are there own individual spells.

If I am wrong please don't get mad at me I'm doing my best here to try and help.

Only one is countered.

502.52. Replicate

502.52a Replicate is a keyword that represents two abilities. The first is a static ability that functions while the spell is on the stack. The second is a triggered ability that functions while the spell is on the stack. Replicate [cost] means As an additional cost to play this spell, you may pay [cost] any number of times and When you play this spell, if a replicate cost was paid for it, copy it for each time its replicate cost was paid. If the spell has any targets, you may choose new targets for any number of the copies. Paying a spells replicate cost follows the rules for paying additional costs in rules 409.1b and 409.1fh.

502.52b If a spell has multiple instances of replicate, each is paid separately and triggers based on the payments made for it, not any other instance of replicate.
