if i use Goblin Tunneler to make my Chandra's Spitfire unblockable and then i play two lightning bolts does it still remain unblockable?

i was thinking of using this combo and i wanna clarify the effects first.

yes i believe, because you use Goblin Tunneler 's ability when you declare attackers, then before the assign combat damage step, you play your bolts..

correct me if i'm wrong

Yes it does. The target met the power requirement, and so it is made unblockable until end of turn. If it later gains power, it was already granted unblockability and it retains it.

Short Answer: Yes you can make it unblockable and then pump it and it will remain unblockable.

Long Answer: The restriction on Goblin Tunneler is applied to what it can target rather than the application of the ability.

In other words the Goblin Tunneler ability is saying it can only target creatures with power 2 or less. Provided the power of the creature is less than or equal to 2 when the ability is activated (and when it resolves) the creature will be unblockable until end of turn regardless of any future changed to it's power.

i run a bunch of goblins for 1 mana, and bloodthrone vampires. make my 1/1 unblockable, then sac em all and swing for 27!!
