if Snapsail Glider has metalcraft and blocks a Glint Hawk then the glider loses metalcraft is the glint hawk still blocked?

The scenerio:
I have a Snapsail Glider and 2 other artifacts, so metalcraft is turned on. My opponent has a Glint Hawk .
I block the Glint Hawk with the Snapsail Glider, then my opponent Shatter s one of my other artifacts. What happens my Snapsail Glider? Does it block?

it really depends on when they shatter the artifact. if they shatter it before you declare snapsail glider as a blocker then the glider cant block the hawk.
but if they shatter the artifact after you declare the glider as a blocker then the hawk is blocked by the glider even though it would no longer have flying.

though depending on what artifacts you have out i would just shatter the glider and be done with it

xeratheenigma's correct. Once a card has been declared as a blocker, it's a blocker 'til death do it part. Likewise once a card has been declared blocked, it's considered blocked. Even if a kill spell removes the blocker, it was already declared and so it's blocked.
So in this situation, your Glider would still be considered blocking the Hawk, even if it loses flying.

The attacking creature becomes blocked.
Now, rule 509.1b, paragraph 2:
A restriction may be created by an evasion ability (a static ability an attacking creature has that restricts what can block it). If an attacking creature gains or loses an evasion ability after a legal block has been declared, it doesn't affect that block. Different evasion abilities are cumulative. Example: An attacking creature with flying and shadow can't be blocked by a creature with flying but without shadow.

the glint hawk persues the falling snapsail, eager for revenge against it's outrageous impertinence...

i think Shatter would resolve before combat actually occus (like using Giant Growth or Lightning Bolt on a creature during combat). Therefore, Snapsail Glider would lose flying
