If someone counters your instant or sorcery does Kiln Fiend still get it's bonus? and If I Reverberate my Lightning Bolt does Kiln Fiend get his bonus three times?

I have two questions, if someone negates, or cancels your instant or sorcery he still gets the +3 from the fizzled spell, and if i cast reverbrate same time cast a lightning bolt, now does the kiln fiend get 3 +3 counters from the two lightning bolt, and one reverbrate?

yes it would get the bonus even if the spell is countered it would only get its bonus twice because you only casted two spells Reverberate doesnt cast another spell it copies the effect of one on the stack

When you cast an instant or sorcery. The effect of the Kiln Fiend goes on the stack. This happens because you are the active player. The opponent then gets a chance to respond assuming your not wanting to do something else.

This may seem unusual but is important. If you plan to use Fling to damage a player, you need to wait till your creatures ability resolves first after say casting Lightning Bolt so that it gets the bonus. Hope this helps to clarify.

(ps: Fling doesn't give the Kiln Fiend the bonus if your sacrificing it.)

Yes, Kiln Fiend would get +3/+0 for you casting a Lightning Bolt then an opponent casting Negate . The reason for this is that Kiln Fiend reads

"Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell..."

As long as an instant or sorcery spell leaves your hands and goes on the stack, Kiln Fiend benefits from it.

In the instance of Reverberate , you are correct in Kiln Fiend only getting +9/+0 until end of turn because Reverberate reads "Copy target instant or sorcery spell", not "Cast a copy of target instant or sorcery spell" or something to that effect.

Hope it helps : )

Everyone above has the right of it on both questions, but I think the important note for you to take away here is the difference between "cast" and "resolve" - you cast the spell regardless. If someone counters it, it doesn't resolve, but that doesn't mean you didn't cast anything.

This is an important distinction, for example, in the case of the Eldrazi mythic legends - all three have abilities that occur when you cast them, regardless of whether they resolve or not (though Emmy can't be countered).

Also the difference between a spell being cast and a spell being copied. Yes, in both cases you have a new effect going on the stack, but making a copy of a spell is not the same as casting another spell.

Another more clear example is by illustrating their use with Pyromancers Ascension. Lightning Bolt Reverberated can be used to hit your opponent for 6, but it does not add a counter to you Pyromancers Ascension. The effects of the spell copy but the copied spell is still a red Reverberate. Correct?
