If you cast a spell after you have Venser, the Sojournerfoil's emblem, and your opponent has no legal targets, do you have to exile your own permanents?

Because if so, that would suck.

yes, haha but if they have no permanents you epically win. you could just exile venser to stop all that nonsense

Good point, but exiling him won't eliminate the emblem. But by that point the game is over.

i have a 150 card blue, white deck. 2 vensers. u have til turn 5 to beat me. ive gotten vensers emblem off and him at 75 popping Glimmerpost onto the field with 3 in play. i do that wen im bored and counter my own things and exile their lands. my biggest creature in the deck is Blinding Mage . it has never lost 1 vs. 1 except to burn decks. if u have anything bigger than a 1/1 in a venser deck u should win before ur forced to exile ur own stuff.
