If you put True Conviction on the field while you control a creature with double strike does it get to double strike twice?

If you put True Conviction out and there is a double strike creature like Mirran Crusader , he does not hit double then double right?

Double strike does not stack with itself. You may recall that Double Strike's help text reads "This creature deals both first strike damage and regular combat damage." There is no benefit from having multiple instances of double strike on a creature. You do still gain 4 life from Mirran Crusader if it deals 4 damage...

Double Strike doesn't stack. Neither does Flying, First Strike, Trample, Reach, Lifelink, Infect, or Deathtouch.

Rampage, poisonous and a few other creature-only keywords do, however, stack.

Yes, Exalted and Annihilator also stack.

The difference, which you're referring, is to things like Quest for Pure Flame .

No, Double Strike does not stack, so your creature would only get it once.
