If you Ruin Ghost a tapped land and have it come in to play untapped?

Well, the name pretty much says it all, but I will elaborate a little.

Lets say I have out a Ruin Ghost and a plains. Can I tap my plains for Ruin Ghost 's ability and exile it. When it returns to the battlefield, is it tapped or not?

As long as the land doesn't specifically say "enters the battlefield tapped" a plains enters the battlefield untapped. A Stirring Wildwood would reenter the battlefield tapped.

Hope it helps

in your scenario the plains would come into play untapped. however if it was a card like Halimar Depths it would return to the battlefield tapped though you would get its ponder effect.

each land comes back into play the way it would normally as if you just played it from your hand.
