If you tap myrs to increase Myr Battlesphere's power, does untapping them with Myr Galvanizer's ability take that power away?

Asked by legionn 14 years ago

If I have a bunch of myrs (lets say , 2 myr galvanizers, and 4 silver myrs), as well as a Myr Battlesphere, can I continue to tap the 4 silver myrs to give my battlesphere power, and then untap them with my galvanizers while retaining the power, just so I can repeat the process to give my battlesphere unlimited power?

no, sorry - the Myr Battlesphere 's ability is triggered - you can't do the tap/untap thing during its resolution. you could however, respond to the trigger, spend a mana, use a Myr Galvanizer to untap the other myrs (including the Myr Battlesphere funny enough) and then tap them (including the Myr Battlesphere funny enough) , but your limited to the number you actually have.

Myr Battlesphere 's ability is a one time effect that happens when you declared it as and attacker.

So there is only one chance to tap the amount of creatures needed to use it's ability. While that's happening you cannot play other abilities.

So You can't infinite on the damage I'm afraid.
