Is there a card that converts creatures into dragons?

Asked by Micah_408 13 years ago

Im working on a deck that involves using a Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund and i want to find a way to turn all of my opponents creatures into dragons. The combo does'nt have any restictions, red and blue mana if possible.

In colors, you have Sarkhan the Mad , Blades of Velis Vel , and Nameless Inversion . Shields of Velis Vel will let you steal everything all at once if you splash white, and finally you have Wings of Velis Vel in blue.

Then, Blue has more juice for you. Unnatural Selection and Mistform Mask can sit there on the battlefield, waiting to do work. Artificial Evolution can even be a neat trick, turning your Karrthus into a fancy Goatnapper . It also works to change any creature into a different type for just long enough for Karrthus to steal it. Standardize will turn everything into a specific type until end of turn, and finally Trickery Charm lets you flip one creature's type as well.

When you're all done with the type-shifting shenanigans, you can always wash it down with a Roar of the Crowd

There is also the Bazaar Trader /Conspiracy combo, which has the added benefit of being in the same colours as Karrthus.

Oops, Trader isn't as good as I thought it was. You'll have to go Donate Conspiracy instead.

I believe that the only way to do this is Conspiracy + Donate . Which means you might as well really splash blue, and also put Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker in.

thanks so much for the answers but i was looking for Standardize , the deck is going to be a dragonstorm deck, i want to see the look on my opponents face when, they are tapped out, can't play zero costing spell, because i closed the stack with a split second spell, and iv'e just gained controll of all thier creatures. Should be fun. Here's the link in case anyone is interested http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/its-a-bird-its-a-plane-its-a-storm-of-dragons/

I would say Mirrorweave targeting one dragon and then playing the tyrant and take them all
