Say you sacrifice a Death Cultist , and you have a Bloodthrone Vampire and Vampire Aristocrat on the battlefield; does Death Cultist 's ability resolve, and does both vampires gain their +2/+2 bonus?

Simply put, no. Here's how Bloodthrone Vampire and Vampire Aristocrat : They each have an ability that gives them +2/+2 until end of turn. Each ability has it's own separate cost, if you sacrificed a creature to one, it would not count for the other. Think of it this way: You tap two lands for 2 floating mana. You have in play two Dragon Engine s. You spend the 2 mana on one so it get's +1/+0, but the other one does not because you spent the cost for the other one already.
This also applies to Death Cultist , by sacrificing him he pays for his OWN ability and thus the sacrifing can not pay for the ability of either Bloodthrone Vampire or vampire aristocrat]].
