What are some deck type meanings?

Asked by k0o808 14 years ago

What does RDW, U/W & U/B stand for? and other abbreviations.

RDW = Red Deck Wins (famous archetype)

WUBRG are all letters for colors.

B = Black R = Red G = Greed W = White U = Blue (because B was already taken).

So, U/W is Blue/White. Meaning the deck is Blue/White.

From there, it's easy to figure out.

Yeah, I'm not sure why Blue got the short end of the stick during the dawn of Magic and Black got to claim the B, but that's what happened.

Blue got the short end because Black comes before blue alphabetically basically =P
