What happens if i'm at 0 life and then I kill my opponent's Abyssal Persecutor and bring his life total to 0 at the same time?

Okay, say I am at 0 life my opponent is at 2 life.

He blocks my attacking Hellkite Overlord with his abyssal persecutor.

What ends up happening? Do I win by trampling 2 dmg across, or does he win by his persecutor dieing?

In this exact situation, both of your life totals are at zero when Abyssal Persecutor is removed from the game, which means that the game ends in a draw. If you're at 0 and Persecutor is keeping you from losing, when he is destroyed, the trample damage you give makes your opponent's life at or below 0 as well, which means at the end of turn, when you both have 0 or a negative life total, the game ends in a draw. Hope this helps.

i think the ruling is, "If both players would lose, the game ends in a draw."

Since you both lose when combat damage resolves and combat damage resolves simultaneously, the game is a draw.

104.4a If all the players remaining in a game lose simultaneously, the game is a draw.

Hellkite Overlord . Yup. Game ends in a draw, since combat damage is dealt simultaneously.

Alright, just wanted to know if the damage and destruction of the persecutor is simultaneous, thanks.
