What happens if Shape Anew's Target becomes invalid before the artifact is sacrificed?

If I targeted my Mindslaver with Shape Anew , and made the target invalid by sacrificing the mindslaver for its ability, would I still reveal cards off the top of my library?

well what happens when a spell's target becomes invalid or illegal is, that the spell "fizzles" or becomes countered effectively preventing any of the spells abilities from taking effect. this means that you would not reveal cards off the top of your library or put an artifact on to the battlefield due to shape anew because it has fizzled and has no effect on the game.

Xera is correct, if all of a spell's targets become illegal between casting the spell and resolving it, the spell is countered by the game rules and has no effect. The same thing would happen if you tried to Suffer the Past an opponent but they Nihil Spellbomb their graveyard in response. Your opponent would not lose any life and you would not gain any. Or if you Swerve a Counterspell
