What happens to an indestructible creature when it blocks a creature with deathtouch?

Asked by oltskul 14 years ago

i declare attack with ie. Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre , oponent sacrifices 4 perms. and declares defense. for exaple with Stinkweed Imp .. after resolving the stack, Stinkweed Imp dies and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre survievs, doesnt he?

and better way to ask: what doesnt kill or put into graveyard indestructible creature? Or what the hack does it mean? :)

indestructible states any effect or amount of damage that would destroy a card with indestructible doesn't destroy it. the only to kill a card that is indestructible would be to exile it, remove it from the game, or reduce its toughness to 0 if it's a creature. (Grasp of Darkness )

the only way you can "kill" an indestructible creature, or in a sense, get rid of it, is to force your opponent to sacrifice it

or find a way to get its toughness down to 0

however, since whenever Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre just goes back into your deck whenever its put into the graveyard, what i would do is Oblivion Ring :D

or exile it some other way. something like that.
