what if Order of the Stars blocks Gorgon Recluse

If Order of the Stars is given protection from black, and blocks Gorgon Recluse will OotS be destroyed?

I read about protection, and it seems to me that Gorgon Recluse 's rules text doesn't need damage to be dealt, and it doesn't sound like it targets, just "whenever...becomes blocked...."

Order of the Stars would be destroyed because Gorgon Recluse does not target, does not deal damage, it simply destroys.

I just double checked on the magic website and someone had asked a similar question in their forums.
