hi guys.. I have kind of stoopid questeion. What is abiliti so called HAUNT? for example card Belfry Spirit
YEAH i found it on internet: http://wiki.mtgsalvation.com/article/Haunt
BUT I DONT GET IT.. what happens to creature which became HAUNTED? Some example is more than welcomed :) TY guy n girls!
Ok, so basically, Belfry Spirit has something occur when it comes into play. In this case, it lets you put 2 1/1 bats on the field. Haunt is something that black/white cards have that allows you to basically exile the card when it goes to the graveyard and say that it is haunting target creature (whether it be one of your creatures or not). Haunting doesn't mean anything special other than you chose that creature to be the one affected by belfry's ability. So basically when a creature being haunted goes to the graveyard, the thing haunting it's ability goes off AGAIN. So heres an example.
You cast Belfry Spirit and get two 1/1s. Belfry dies and you say it is haunting my Birds of Paradise . Once my Birds of Paradise go to the graveyard, you get two MORE 1/1s. Other things with haunt have different abilities, but it's all basically the same idea :). Hope I helped.

So just a check; in this case, when that birds of yours dies, i don't get to cast Befry Spirit again? I just get the triggered ability, which is 2 tokens.

Stefan, that's correct. You just get whatever it says the Haunt ability does (in this case, putting two tokens out).

almost like an exiled aura. for this card it puts 2 tokens in, wen it dies it picks a creature to check on, wen that checked creature dies u get 2 more tokens.
