What's the best number of artifacts in a deck for a metal craft deck?

How many artiifacts are needed to sustain a moderate use of metalcraft in a deck?

Well the bare minimum requirement for Metalcraft to be active is three on the battlefield. You will most likely want a lot more than that for safety purposes. In any metal craft deck, Liquimetal Coating is good. Other than that I would try to run at least half of the cards in your deck as artifacts if you can. That would really up the chances and not make you extremely vulnerable to artifact wipe.

For Limited (Sealed/Draft) you want to run at least 15 artifacts in your deck for metalcraft to be reliable. Of course, more is always better.

For Constructed, you really do want to run as many as possible, but don't be shy about including non-artifact cards. If you run 26-28 artifacts, you will nearly always have metalcraft up and running (depending on your curve), giving you slots for card:Ezuri's Brigade or what have you.
