When are FNM Foil Cards legal?

Do the cards won via FNM remains legal to play standard?

Even if there's no cards matching in current meta?

How long would they remain legal to play?

Could they be used on tournaments?

FNM foil cards are usually ones given that are just outside of standard format, but they are ok to play in tourney's and should be fully legal to use in their respected formats. (Usually extended and such)

So in respects of getting FNM foil promo's, you need to know which set they are in, and check to ensure they are legal for that format.

Some judges though will be tough on shiny cards, so just be aware of this when attending tourneys.
