Will equipments move with Mind Control

If a creature is equipped, will mind control take the equipment ?

No, the equipment stays equipped to the mind controlled creature, but you still control it, and therefore you can still choose what it does or equip it to something else instead.

Further to Peter's advice.

If you play Mind Control on a creature equipped with equipment, Both Equipment and the creature goes to your side of the battlefield. (Because the creature has the equipment attached to it).

So for that turn, you can gain the benefit's of the equipment. BUT: You don't control the equipment.

The owner on his turn can then choose to equip the said equipment to one of his own creatures during his turn.

This is because the opponent CONTROLS the equipment.

As per Gatherer Rulings advice...

"15/08/2010 Gaining control of a creature doesn't cause you gain control of any Auras or Equipment attached to it."

Hope this helps to clarify things.

Oh, and before you ask about Lifelinked stuff... Lifelink affects the creature, NOT the equipment, so yes, you would benefit from damage that the creature can do.

Although note that, if your opponent has no valid options for re-equipping the equipment (i.e., he has no other creatures), it'll have to stay on the stolen creature.
