Will Fling give a poison counter if I sacrifice a creature with infect?

If I use Fling on a Putrefax does Fling give my opponent poison counters?

No, Fling is dealing the damage, not Putrefax , so Fling deals 5 damage, not fax.

If a card like Livewire Lash says the creature deals the damage, then your op gets poision counters.
