I used to have mana issues all the time, but when I switched to manaless decks, those problems went away! Now my only problem is that no one wants to play with me anymore!

I'm currently occupying that comfortable space of being good enough at the game to win, but being bad enough at the game that I don't need to win all the time. Life is good.

The best thing I've ever done was accepted that I like to play decks that make other people unhappy, and that's okay. I find the key to keeping friends, when you are the way I am, is self deprecating humour. Unfortunately, I'm terrible at it.
