Description

With soldier decks, you can really either go one of three ways:

  1. Red/White or Red: This has a focus on the Heroic ability and has a focus on instants and enchantments to buff it's soldiers. (Akroan Crusader, Akroan Skyguard, Titan's Strength, Crowd's Favor, Battlewise Valor)

  2. Red/White: This focuses on the Battalion mechanic and focuses on creatures that become very strong when attacking with three or more. The idea is to get at least three of these on the battlefield, then overwhelm your opponent with the combined abilities. (Tajic, Blade of the Legion, Wojek Halberdiers, Frontline Medic)

  3. Mono White Soldier Token: This has a focus on simply generating as many soldier tokens as possible, to buff creatures that benefit from simply having as many creatures on the battlefield as possible. (Champion of the Parish, Crusader of Odric, Odric, Master Tactician, Captain's Call)
